RAW Arms Texas

RAW Arms Texas LLC was founded by Randy Wareham, a 23+ year United States Air Force Veteran, to provide straightforward, professional firearms training for responsible gun owners across Texas and locally to the Abilene area.

At RAW Arms we believe in Jesus Christ, Family, Friends, and upholding our constitutional rights. Firearm training should be clear, practical, and focused on safety and fundamentals, not hype or pressure. Whether you’re new to handguns or simply want formal instruction from a certified instructor, our goal is to help you build confidence through proper handling, sound decision-making, and proven training standards.

Our Approach to Training

Keep classes intentionally small to ensure each student receives proper attention and instruction.

Focus on education, not sales. You won’t find high-pressure tactics, fear-based messaging, or unnecessary upsells here — just honest training delivered in a professional, respectful environment.

A Local, Community-Focused Business

RAW Arms Texas is locally owned and operated. We serve Abilene and the surrounding communities where trust, reputation, and word-of-mouth matter for our In-Person Classes. Serving Texas residents with our Online LTC Class and helping them to connect with local Instructors for live-fire assistance.

Randy wanted to continue to his service after the military and now serves his community by helping gun owners like you through their entire firearm educational journey. Randy has been a certified NRA Pistol Instructor since January 2026, plans on becoming qualified in additional NRA centric courses, so RAW Arms can provide a more holistic and robust portfolio of firearm education.
